From the Apps page, click on the Get Code link to get the iframe tag for the Promo Bar.
-
Include the Promo Bar Code in your HTML
Place the Promo Bar iframe liberally throughout your app. Be sure to dynamically pass the user's user_id in the part of the url labeled [USER ID].
As users click on your bar, you will accumulate credits which will go towards driving users clicks into your ads. Credits are earned and spent using the following country-specific credit ratios:
- US - 5 credits
- CA, UK, AU, NZ, IE - 4 credits
- All other western europe - 3 credits
- All other countries - 1 credit
Your promo bar will also include revenue-generating app-install advertisements. While these ads do not earn you credits, they do earn revenue and behave like normal cross-promotion ads in the Promo Bar.
*If you are placing your Promo Bar on a Facebook application, be sure to comply with Facebook's UID enccryption policy as described in this blog post.
